12-Bit: 8 Channel: Integrated Analog Input module for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Texas Instruments

TIDA-00119 is a complete: highly-integrated PLC analog input module front-end reference design that is designed and tested to meet IEC61000-4 standards for industrial automation systems. The design can be configured for 4 differential inputs or 8 single-ended inputs with 12-bit ADC resolution and a sample rate of up to 1MSPS. These inputs can also be programmed to take current or voltage inputs with selectable ranges. The design also includes an isolated power supply providing all necessary module voltages: input surge and ESD protection and an isolated digital data interface that can be connected to any microcontroller: FPGA or ASIC via SPI interface. Full documentation: test results: design files and necessary firmware are available to help reduce time to market.
