In stock at authorised distributor Mouser Electronics is the ESP32-C5 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy System-on-Chip (SoC) from Espressif Systems.

The ESP32-C5 SoC supports 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE 5, Zigbee 3.0, and Thread 1.4.

It integrates a high-performance (HP) 32-bit RISC-V processor, a low-power (LP) 32-bit RISC-V processor, wireless baseband and MAC (supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, and 802.15.4), an RF module, and multiple peripherals, with time-division coexistence among Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 802.15.4.

This SoC features 29 GPIOs and a comprehensive set of peripherals in a QFN package measuring 6 x 6mm2.

Security features include secure boot, flash and PSRAM encryption, cryptographic accelerators, Access Permission Management (APM) hardware block, and Physical Memory Protection (PMP).

The ESP32-C5 SoC is ideal for applications such as smart homes, industrial automation, medical wearables, smart agriculture, service robots, and IoT sensor hubs and data loggers.

The ESP32-C5-DevKitC-1 development kit, also available from Mouser, offers a demonstration and prototyping platform for the ESP32-C5 SoC.

It features USB Type-C ports for power and programming, an onboard USB-to-UART bridge for easy debugging, and multiple GPIOs accessible via pin headers for peripheral integration.
