DigiKey renews Platinum Level Sponsorship of Women in Electronics

DigiKey recently reaffirmed its commitment to Women in Electronics (WE) through a Platinum Level sponsorship renewal.

WE is an organisation comprised of leaders at various career stages, aiming to enhance opportunities for women in the dynamic electronics industry.

Linda Johnson, Executive Vice President of Operations at DigiKey, expressed the company’s support for Women in Electronics: “We are proud to sponsor Women in Electronics as they are a key resource in DigiKey’s ongoing efforts to advance women in the electronics and technology industries. Since partnering with the organisation, we’ve seen firsthand the benefits that their mentoring programme, leadership training, speaker series, and experienced network provide to everyone working to elevate female leaders here at DigiKey and throughout the industry.”

Jackie Mattox, Founder and CEO of Women in Electronics, also shared her thoughts: “We are quite honoured to be in close alignment with DigiKey, as their leadership exudes a forward-thinking, growth mindset, which is essential for driving innovation moving forward.”

Women in Electronics is a 501(c)3 public charity, offering leadership growth and development, mentorship, networking, thought-leadership events, and resources to foster gender parity in the electronics sector.

In 2018, DigiKey inaugurated a local chapter of Women in Electronics, welcoming not only DigiKey employees but also any local community member seeking expertise, tools, resources, and support to cultivate and develop women leaders in the workplace.
