Once a vehicle battery’s development has progressed to the point where market entry appears feasible, it must be tested in accordance with ECE-R100. This is the final hurdle that must be cleared before a battery can get the green light from regulatory authorities and, most importantly, be placed on the market.
Presenter Michael Wiedenbauer is a technical specialist, and he will introduce attendees to recent updates to the UN ECE-R100 standard, identify the changes from Rev. 02, and provide an overview of the tests required for vehicles with an electric powertrain and destined for the European market. The webinar takes place on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
