Texas Instruments revenues grow 22 % in Q3

Driven by a strong performance in analogue, Texas Instruments has reported third quarter revenue of $4.64 billion up 22 % on the same quarter last year.

Net income came in at $1.95 billion, a whopping 44 % increase year on year.

Rich Templeton, President, Chairman and CEO of Texas Instruments commented, “Revenue increased 22% from the same quarter a year ago due to strong demand in industrial, automotive and personal electronics. Analogue revenue grew 24% and Embedded Processing grew 13% from the same quarter a year ago.”

TI’s fourth quarter outlook is for revenue in the range of $4.22 billion to $4.58 billion.
