These crystals are growing up so fast!

  Middle, high school and home school students will compete in the Wisconsin Crystal Growing contest, from March 1 to April 30.

This year, for the first time, students whose crystals are selected as overall and best quality winners of the competition will have an opportunity for their crystals to grow aboard the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory. This video captures some of the crystals being grown in the UW–Madison Department of Chemistry.
