Start-stop effect on BLDC motor drives

This video demonstrates the DRV8305-Q1’s ability to drive a motor during a cold crank situation.

The device eliminates the need for extra circuitry and is able to operate down to 4.4V while driving the motor and PWM the gate of the power FETs.
