Sammy Cheung and Tony Ngai, after dedicating more than 25 years to working at various semiconductor firms, including FPGA enterprises and programmable technology providers, established Efinix in 2012. Their initial innovation was the development of a novel, groundbreaking FPGA fabric known as the Quantum architecture.
Now Efinix produces FPGAs featuring its Quantum fabric architecture targeting devices from the intelligent Edge, through to industrial automation.
