Mark discusses the trials and tribulations of the turbulent times that Mouser has recently experienced in distrubiton – but also the success that the company has recently seen.
“It sounds bizarre,” says Mark, “but an allocation market for a distributor is not an enjoyable one … You’re dealing at the front end with customers who are quite rightly very unhappy. … But by the time we hit January the first and looked back on the numbers, we see that we’ve grown by a billion dollars this year – that’s when you say, ‘Yeah, that’s probably the best year we’ve ever had'”.
