When distributors started selling test and measurement products many years ago, the choice was limited and mostly encompassed inexpensive hand-held instruments. 

Now the channel has moved up the instrument food chain, selling oscilloscopes for five figure sums as well as accompanying probes and software. Mick Elliott talks to Philippe Pichot, EMEA Distribution Sales Director for Tektronix about his company’s strategy
