Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with M5Stack, a developer of stackable open-source Internet of Things (IoT) development kits.

According to the agreement, Mouser will offer customers M5Stack's innovative range of development kits and tools, enabling designers to quickly implement ideas and build new IoT prototypes.

M5Stack's development kits support applications such as wearables, smart home devices, and IoT terminal controllers.

The Core2 ESP32 IoT development kit integrates an Espressif ESP32 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled microcontroller with two Tensilica Xtensa 32-bit LX6 microprocessors that can be controlled separately.

With 16 Mbytes of onboard flash and 8 Mbytes of PSRAM memory, the Core2 kit supports a range of IoT applications, including smart home devices. The versatile Core2 development kit features a built-in speaker, vibration motor, power indicator, I²S amplifier, RTC, and capacitive touch screen.

The M5StickC development tools, also powered by an Espressif ESP32 microcontroller, are easy-to-use, portable, and open-source development tools that help reduce barriers in the development process and improve time-to-market for IoT devices.

The M5StickC devices feature a built-in 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), IR transmitter, red LED, microphone, and other peripherals. The development tools support applications including science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, and DIY projects.

The ATOM Matrix ESP32 development kit is a compact 24 mm × 24 mm device based on a 240 MHz, dual-core ESP32 Pico module with integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies. Featuring a built-in MPU6886 inertial sensor, 4 Mbytes of integrated SPI flash memory, and extensive customisable GPIOs, the ATOM kit supports rapid miniature embedded device development.

M5Stack's BASIC ESP32 development kit is modular, stackable, and scalable, making it an affordable solution for full-function product development at all stages.

The kit features a built-in speaker, buttons, colour LCD, power/reset button, and 16 Gbyte TF card slot to support a wide range of applications, including IoT terminal controllers and DIY creations.
