Due to the high demand following the successful first AI Vision Day hosted by Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente and its AI partner COMI in February 2025, a new edition will be held on September 30.
The focus will be on innovative, AI-supported logistics solutions. Participants will gain exclusive insights into the use of intelligent camera technologies at real workstations in Rutronik’s incoming goods department at its largest logistics centre in Eisingen, near Pforzheim. Highlights will include live demonstrations of the AI Vision Document Reader and the AI Vision Label Reader.
At the second joint AI Vision Day, organised by Rutronik and COMI, business partners and customers will gain exclusive insights into forward-looking, AI-based logistics solutions. A special highlight will be a warehouse tour at Rutronik and live demos of the workstations equipped with AI-based camera technologies.
Armin Bär, CEO of COMI, and Fabian Plentz, COO of Rutronik, will give the welcome and introduction. Live demonstrations of the AI Vision Document Reader and the AI Vision Label Reader will follow. The Document Reader automates the capture of delivery bills, and the Label Reader uses AI to capture product labels. The demonstrations will take place at the corresponding workstations in the Eisingen logistics center of Rutronik. Christian Krebs, Head of Project and Process Management at Rutronik, and the COMI experts Markus Förste, CTO and Head of AI, and Florian Buk, AI Project Manager and Machine Learning Engineer, will guide through the live demos. The programme will conclude with a tour of the logistics centre, a Q&A session, and a get-together with lunch.
