Wind River will showcase how to reliably design, deploy, and scale intelligent embedded systems at the Edge, with live demos spanning Edge AI, workload consolidation, and modern DevOps for embedded development. Visitors can experience the ways we bring real-time performance, safety, security, and AI together to power next-generation industrial, retail, automotive, and medical solutions.

At Booth 4-112 in Nuremberg, attendees can see an Edge AI robotic arm demo that uses machine learning to detect workplace safety risks in real time, powered by VxWorks, eLxr Pro, Wind River Cloud Platform, Wind River Conductor, and analytics running from device to Cloud. Our ‘Intelligent Retail at the Edge’ demo shows how distributed in-store infrastructure running Wind River Linux and eLxr Pro, together with ecosystem partners, delivers resilient, secure, and remotely managed Edge applications for analytics, POS, and inventory. Additional demos highlight Wind River Helix Virtualisation Platform – based workload consolidation for mixed-criticality systems, Cloud-scale embedded test automation with Wind River Studio Developer, and AI-assisted modelling that uses Generative AI to accelerate system simulation model creation.

Wind River experts will also share insights during multiple sessions on topics such as orchestrating RTOS and Linux with Kubernetes, WebAssembly in safety-critical embedded systems, CHERI on RISC-V, ROS on Yocto, OS choices from RTOS to Linux, IT/OT convergence, and AI agent-driven simulation. Across the booth and the conference programme, visitors will learn how Wind River’s Edge-to-Cloud software portfolio and ecosystem help reduce complexity and time-to-market while maintaining the highest levels of safety, security, and reliability for mission-critical systems.
