Webinar explores ‘cleaning for decoating’

Scheduled for 12th November at 10.00am (CET), ZESTRON has announced a 45 minute webinar, titled ‘Cleaning for Decoating’. Participants will learn the requirements for inspection and repair processes of PCBs, as well as best practices for cleaning when decoating to achieve solderable and recoatable surfaces.

Coated PCBs must be tested at intervals during high reliability and long-term use. If abnormalities appear or components must be changed for updates, local and complete decoating of the PCB will be necessary.

Including a questions and answers session, the webinar will also review various types of varnishes and which cleaning processes are best for local and complete removal. Participants will receive an abstract of the presentation after the webinar.
