Inaugural joint zone:
To help navigate the event, DSEI is divided into dedicated capability zones: Air, Land, Sea and Security. New to this edition will be the Joint Zone, which will debut with the full support of Joint Forces Command. It has been developed to host a broad range of global businesses that provide capabilities across the Single Services, Special Forces and humanitarian organisations, such as C4ISTAR, Logistics, Medical, Robotics and Satcoms.

Companies confirmed to feature in the Zone include: Danish firm Weibel which manufactures Doppler radars, Oshkosh Defense, Teledyne, Gamma Healthcare, Theon Sensors, Gamma Healthcare, Milforce Equipment, and 4C Strategies.

The Joint Zone will also include an Innovation Hub, encouraging imagination, ingenuity and entrepreneurship and host companies that are either new to defence or seeking broader exposure in the sector. The Innovation Hub will be supported by techUK.

Military medical demonstrations:
The display of medical innovation has grown to become a significant DSEI highlight, showcasing the very latest in medical innovation and operational practise, straight from professionals on the front line. This will include the novel CitizenAid app, developed by UK MOD’s award-winning Defence Medical Services. Visitors will exclusively be given live demonstrations of how the app could be used by any member of the public to provide basic but vital medical procedures on injured people in the wake of a terrorist attack.

Providing a point of access to lucrative defence markets, DSEI will host the following countries in dedicated pavilions: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK, USA.
