The Quantum Technologies Showcase returns
The Quantum Technologies Showcase, which last year attracted more than 1,000 delegates from 34 different countries, will host the latest ground-breaking applications of quantum technologies currently in development and in the process of being commercialised.
There will also be talks from the world’s leading lights in quantum science in conference sessions organised by Innovate UK, the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme (UKNQTP), and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
Dr Kedar Pandya, Chair of the National Quantum Technologies Programme Board and Executive Director at EPSRC, says, “The Quantum Technologies Showcase is a big event for the global quantum community, but it’s actually open to anyone with a interest in the UK quantum technology sector.
“There’s an enormous amount of progress being made using quantum technology in the automotive sector, healthcare, infrastructure, telecommunications, cyber security, and defence. The most compelling of those innovators will be on the exhibition floor, showing their products and services.
“It’s also a great opportunity to network with industry pros, businesses, academics, government representatives and investors.”
The showcase will also demonstrate the success and progress of UKNQTP, a £1 billion collaboration between industry, academia and government with a further £2.5bn over 10 years outlined in the recent UK Quantum Strategy.
The 2023 Quantum Technologies Showcase takes place from 9am to 4pm on Thursday 2 November and is free to attend.
