Scanning receiver operates at 10MHz to 8GHz and 24 to 48GHz

The recently launched GFlex RF telecom scanning receiver will be shown at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2022 (February 8-10) by Broadband Technology 2000.

It operates at 10MHz to 8GHz and 24 to 48GHz and can collect all the mmWave and sub-8GHz data needed for drive test, walk test, and government applications in one pass, with one unit.

The receiver works with multiple devices to streamline operations and has the power to test 120 5G channels simultaneously across mmWave and sub-8 GHz bands. 4G measurements can be added with zero degradation in performance.

The scanner is I/Q streaming-ready and has a 20/100MHz wide step IF filter, performs dual polarisation beamforming measurements, 4G/5G dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS) and 4×2 MIMO measurements.

Applications include 5G network optimisation, multi-operator network benchmarking, spectrum clearing, network troubleshooting, in-building wireless, signal intelligence, interference detection and coverage assurance.
