Physik Instrumente to showcase at Space-Comm Expo
Physik Instrumente (PI) will be exhibiting its ultra-precise positioning solutions at this year’s Space-Comm Expo, taking place at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, UK, on the 7th and 8th of June.
The company will participate in the ‘Meet the Buyer’ programme each morning of the show, where buyers can set up meetings with the PI team at stand E41 to discuss their specific procurement requirements.
Space-Comm is the biggest event in the UK focused on the commercial future of space, showcasing the latest technologies from over 150 suppliers. PI’s experts will be available to discuss the company’s dynamic photonics alignment and fast beam steering technologies for space, which have a range of applications, including LEO satellites and HAPS. The company’s H-900KSCO Fast 6-Axis Hexapod positioning system – ideal for the motion control of gyroscopic instruments in space – will also be on display, along with the fast piezo tip/tilt steering mirror platform, a sophisticated stabilisation system perfectly suited for laser-guided communications.
Visitors to the PI stand can also ask the team about the company’s hemispherical air bearings – which offer a near-frictionless surface and multidirectional movement capabilities to closely mimic microgravity conditions – plus a variety of other technologies driving the commercialisation of space.
