PCIM Asia 2015 publishes conference programme

The PCIM Asia 2015 international exhibition and conference for power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management will take place from 24th to 26th June in Shanghai. The focus is on power electronic components and systems and the special requirements for applications in China and Asia.

Highlights include two keynote speeches: “Toyota’s Challenge of Applying SiC Power Semiconductors to Environmentally Friendly Vehicles” by Dr. Kimimori Hamada, Toyota, Japan; and “Driving Transport Electrification” by Professor Chris Gerada, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. There will also be an industry session on “Power Devices for Electrical Vehicle and Renewable Applications”, a special “Multilevel” session and a seminar on “Designing Drives for Automation Systems” by Professor Jose Mario Pacas, University of Siegen, Germany. In addition six oral sessions and two poster sessions provide an excellent overview of the current trends and developments within the power electronics sector.
