PCIM Asia 2015 comes to a successful end

  After three exhibition days, full with the latest trends of power electronics, PCIM Asia 2015 ended with a positive result. Running concurrently with SPS Automation Shanghai, 101 exhibitors presented their latest products and services of power electronics in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center.

A total of 4,911 trade visitors informed themselves on a concentrated market about latest trends, developments and innovations concerning power electronics and automation technology which are very important topics in the Chinese market.

Beside numerous international keyplayers such as Infineon, Fuji, Mitsubishi, Power Integrations, Semikron, Toshiba, Vishay and Vincotech, leading Chinese power electronics companies like CSR, CNR, Questar, Eagtop or Guidu Power exhibited as well and offered the, mainly Chinese, trade visitors an exhibition on an usual level.

Adjacent to the exhibition, the PCIM Asia Conference offered to the 362 attendees a diversified and top-class programme with numerous presentations, regarding new technological trends of power electronic components and systems. The special session ‘Multilevel Power Converter Technologies, the industry session on Power Devices for Transportation Systems and Renewable Energy, as well as the seminar Designing Drives for Automation Systems were crowd pullers.
