MicroLabBox rack system for HIL testing of body control modules
At the Automotive Testing Expo Europe (20-22nd May, Stuttgart, Germany), dSPACE will showcase enhancements to its modular and scalable real-time platform for hardware-in-the-loop testing and introduce the new MicroLabBox rack system.
The system is designed for the development and validation of common electronic control units, particularly for mechatronic applications in the automotive, agricultural, and construction machinery industry. The MicroLabBox rack system comes with a full-featured software package.
With a powerful quad-core processor and freely programmable FPGAs, the MicroLabBox rack system can be flexibly used for the development and validation of electronic control units. It has a large number of bus and network interfaces in combination with analog and digital connections as well as resistance simulation and relay channels. Since it is operated using the familiar dSPACE software tool chain, a seamless transition to other dSPACE systems is possible without any problems.
"The included software makes the MicroLabBox rack system immediately ready for use and cost-efficient," says Christian Wördehoff, Product Lead Business Field Manager HIL Testing at dSPACE, summarising the advantages of the new system.
dSPACE will be demonstrating the MicroLabBox rack system and other new validation solutions in Hall 10, Booth 1620 and in Hall 9, Booth 9310. The focus of dSPACE's appearance at the expo is on SIL-HIL consistency. dSPACE is showing how software for electric, autonomous, and software-defined vehicles can be efficiently tested with consistent software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) solutions for simulation and validation.
