Metcal to speak at best practices workshop

Metcal has revealed that Ed Zamborsky, Eastern Regional Sales Manager, is set to speak at the Best Practices Workshop presented by Stanley Supply & Services and RESTronics. Scheduled for 9th October in Duluth, Georgia, the workshop will explore component placement, chemical and testing applications, BGA solder / rework, cleaning, advanced debug, troubleshooting and jitter basics.

Ed Zamborsky is a technology advisor for the product development group and trainer and master applications engineer for all OK International product platforms. His talk will discuss BGA rework, soldering and desoldering. Zamborksy comments: “We are excited to participate in this seminar with the other presenters. It will give the Atlanta community a great opportunity to see today’s best practices in several different product categories.”

Dan Sinclair, National Sales Manager, MicroCare, will present best practices for PCB cleaning; while Tom Mahr, Distribution Manager, Southeast, Tektronix, will discuss board level testing and power design.

Space is limited and the registration fee is $49 per person including continental breakfast and lunch. The first 20 registrants for each workshop will be admitted free.
