New and enhanced features in FactoryLogix R3 include: materials receiving, processing and labeling; incoming quality control (IQC); stockroom management; material kitting and dispatch; material position tracking; moisture sensitive device (MSD) handling and bake management; production planning; and part replenishment and re-order.
This year Aegis’ booth will feature a simulated manufacturing environment, taking visitors through the user experience in each area of the factory, from engineering, to the stockroom, onto the production floor, and into the manager’s office.
“Tomorrow’s “smart factory” will be defined by its ability to harness the vast array of manufacturing data flowing throughout the enterprise, and then convert that data into useful information that can be used to create profound improvements in efficiency, flexibility, quality and traceability.” commented Aegis Europe Regional Director, Dan Walls. “This is the driving principle behind the Industry 4.0 initiative, and we are excited to show how FactoryLogix enables this capability, today.”
