Design Rule is hosting a webinar for companies who want to improve the way they create and manage project documentation for global teams. Design Rule will give viewers an insight into what they can achieve using Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The webinar will take place on May 4^th, 2016 at 10:00 BST. Design Rule’s bespoke webinar will help companies struggling with the management of project requirements and documentation in conjunction with IP security and export control. The webinar specifically targets the aerospace and defence supply chain, but the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions in question are applicable in any sector.

“A Roland Berger study concluded that 70% of cost decisions made during a project's concept and preliminary design phase impact 80% of the total lifetime costs,” explained Bob Hillier, Managing Director, Design Rule. “This is why the proposal development and conceptual design phases are so important to guarantee a project is delivered correctly, first time and on time.

“Managing projects effectively is important in all industries, but the aerospace and defence sector has a reputation for working to particularly rigorous requirements. We will use our experience in the sector to advise on best practice for creating and managing project documentation to improve the time, cost, accuracy and compliance of a project.”

During the webinar, Design Rule will use a roadmap and a simple dashboard view, to share insights on how to manage projects effectively using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systèmes.

The webinar will offer guidelines for making critical design and manufacturing decisions, developing safer products with increased quality, shortening development cycles, meeting government and industry requirements and streamlining collaboration for global teams.

The webinar is the first in a series prepared by Design Rule and will be accessible after May 4^th, 2016 on Design Rule’s website.
