Live GaN on Si demo at EuMW 2014
At European Microwave Week (EuMW), 5th to 10th October in Rome, Italy, M/A-COM Technology Solutions has announced it will exhibit in Booth 131. At the show MACOM will showcase the industry’s broadest GaN product portfolio, a live GaN on Si demo and a suite of products aimed at applications such as industrial, scientific, medical, E-Band point-to-point wireless and X-Band radar.
MACOM has claimed that the company will feature the industry’s broadest portfolio of GaN power products, ranging from 100W GaN in plastic to 1000W ceramic GaN devices.
The live GaN on Silicon demo will feature matched, broadband, integrated amplifiers operating over a 30-2500MHz band, showcasing the ease of use of these products for a variety of applications.
MACOM’s high-performance, ultra compact broadband mixers will also be displayed at the show. These devices are suited for multi-market customers and boast excellent performance over a wide range.
The X-band multi-function module is a fully integrated MMIC packaged in a 7x7mm QFN. It enables dual path transmit/receive operation over the X-Band for weather and commercial radar applications.
