Learn from the experts at the Distributed Robotic Control seminar
Real-Time Innovations (RTI) is organising a seminar about Distributed Robotic Control in Stavanger, Norway on 12th October. All architects, project managers, engineers, and developers are invited to register for the seminar.
A growing number of advanced robotics applications require tight coordination of multiple systems and devices. Within the one-day seminar, participants will learn how a data-centric architecture can change their application performance. They explore the DDS standard and its application to their own robotics systems to address a wide range of common design challenges, and see a live demo of RTI Connext DDS from edge to cloud.
Join the experts from RTI, Ulstein Power & Control AS, CapGemini and Robotic Drilling Systems AS as they discuss how the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard can be used to enable complex robotics applications. This highly interactive, practical session will also examine a wide range of common challenges of designing modern robotic systems, based on real-life lessons learned from NASA’s Human Robotic Systems project and MIRO Lab, an advanced robotic assistance research laboratory. Specific use cases will be discussed that cover applications in robotic oil drilling (with some of the world’s largest robots) and space exploration (rover simulations for NASA).
To participate in the seminar, you need to fill in the registration form available via RTI website: http://info.rti.com/connext-dds-seminar-norway-2016.
