Latest sensors find their way to San Jose

Some of the newest sensor technologies from its manufacturer partners will be showcased by Mouser Electronics at the Sensors Expo and Conference 2016 (June 22–23) in San Jose, California. The Sensors conference is the only industry event in North America focused on sensors, MEMS, and related technologies. On display will be new products from Amphenol, Analog Devices, Bosch, Broadcom, Fairchild, Intel, Microchip, Nordic, NXP, Rohm Semiconductor, Seeed, Sensirion, TE Connectivity, and Texas Instruments.

“Sensors Expo is one of the most exciting events in the industry, providing opportunities for the engineering community to network and learn,” said Kevin Hess, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Mouser Electronics. “The conference lets engineers and students experience firsthand the most cutting-edge technologies on the market today. There will be a live demonstration of the new Hexiwear Wearable Development Kit, developed by MikroElektronika.

Engineers can also find more information about Mouser’s Empowering Innovation Together program. The series, featuring celebrity engineer and former Mythbusters host Grant Imahara, heads into its second year inspiring innovative thinking in engineering design. Additionally, attendees can stop by the Mouser booth for a chance to win an Apple Watch or Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch.
