Following its 16th year at METSTRADE, the world’s largest marine tradeshow, Actisense will be exhibiting at Seawork Asia 2016, from 29th November to 1st December. This exhibition marks Actisense’s next step into the commercial marine market following the official launch of their ‘PRO’ range at Seawork International 2016 in the summer.

Starting with the ‘PRO-BUF-1’, the first product in the ‘PRO’ range, all products are designed to be suitable for larger vessels and commercial shipping.

Danny Thrasher, Head of Sales and Operations, Actisense said: “The support we have had from both the British Marine Federation and DIT (formerly UKTI) has enabled us to focus on our development strategy. China and the Pacific Alliance countries (Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru) are very much on our radar with Seawork Asia being a clear demonstration of our commitment to sales growth in new territories.”

Actisense has recently gained Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) funding from the UK Government which enables eligible businesses to attend overseas trade shows. Having won the funding, Actisense has been able to take their next steps into the commercial marine market by attending Seawork Asia 2016.

Phil Whitehurst, Actisense CEO, said: “Having firmly established Actisense in the Leisure Marine market we are thrilled to have won the TAP funding which will now aid our gradual expansion into the Commercial Marine market. This will be the first time Actisense attends Seawork Asia and we look forward to demonstrating our products in this new market.

Whilst Actisense continues to expand, our commitment to high-quality leisure marine products will not falter. Having just returned from our very successful 16th year at METSTRADE, we hope our continued dedication to developing the most innovative NMEA products on the market is evident.”

Actisense will be specifically exhibiting three products at Seawork Asia 2016, including the PRO-BUF-1, EMU-1, and the USG. They can be visited on stand J-07.
