Centre stage is a new range of miniature temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO) offering frequency stability from ±2.5ppm and new UK manufactured high frequency voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) offering ultra-low phase jitter performance.
These VCXO components are manufactured in the company’s class 7 cleanroom facility and frequencies are available from 2.0 to 60MHz.
The new EM211T TCXO series offers frequencies from 10 to 60MHz with CMOS outputs in a miniature 2.0 x 1.36 x 0.7mm SMD package. Standard output frequencies available are 12, 20, 24, 25, 26, 40, 50 and 60MHz.
These oscillators are ideal for use in a wide range of applications where high accuracy is important with the miniature package making them particularly suitable for embedded systems.
With LVCMOS output into 15pF load, tolerances are available from ±2.5 to ±10ppm over the industrial temperature range (-40 to +85°C), frequency dependent. Typical SSB phase noise at 25°C ranges between -85 and -154dBc/Hz for 50MHz frequency output.
The new UK-manufactured EG_JF VCXO series offers frequencies from 15 to 2100MHz for CMOS, LVPECL, LVDS and CML differential outputs and 15 to 700MHz for HCSL differential outputs. Ideal for use in a wide range of applications where ultra-low phase jitter is a prime requirement, typical RMS phase jitter performance of the EG_JF series ranges from as low as 151fs at 644.530MHz to 163fs at 2000MHz.
A major advantage of these components is that they are manufactured in Euroquartz’s cleanroom facility in southwest UK and are free of ITAR restrictions.
Also on show will be a UK-manufactured surface mount clock oscillator capable of up to 3000G shock survivability with extended temperature range. The EQXO-75UIE oscillator is a ruggedised LVCMOS-compatible circuit with a miniature quartz crystal housed in a low-profile ceramic surface mount package measuring 7.0 x 5.0 x 1.4mm.
Designed by Euroquartz for demanding industrial applications, it will provide reliable operation with good frequency stability across an extended industrial operating temperature band from -40 to +105°C.
Utilising the latest advances in production technology, the combination of optimised design and high-quality materials provides a high reliability clock oscillator suitable for industrial applications.
