A comprehensive portfolio of solutions for embedded developers, from entry-level makers to established professionals will be featured by Arrow Electronics at Embedded World in Nuremberg (Feb 23-25).  Key highlights at the booth, 258 in hall 5, will be the broad selection of development boards Arrow has created with selected technical partners, based on popular processors and system-on-chip ICs.

Arrow is also contributing to the Embedded World conference program, presenting “Fast IoT Solution based on System On Modules” at 2.30pm on Wednesday February 24. See the event program for further information.

At the booth, located in the exhibition’s M2M area, technical experts will show how the boards help reduce design cycles and development times, focusing on platforms such as Arrow’s SmartEverything, Dragonboard 410c and open-source i.MX7 board.

SmartEverything, in the popular Arduino form factor, combines multiple MEMS sensors with an efficient ARM Cortex-M0+ based processor, Bluetooth and NFC wireless, cryptographic security and ultra-narrowband (UNB) cellular Cloud connectivity targeting IoT applications.

Dragonboard 410c and the open-source i.MX7 board are 96Boards-compatible platforms that simplify access to rich resources for demanding applications in robotics, imaging, medical devices, smart buildings, digital signage, professional gaming consoles and more.

With its quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Dragonboard 410c kickstarts projects with up to 64-bit compute power, plus HDMI and microUSB ports, multi-gigabit on-board storage, WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS, and Windows 10, Android and Linux OS support.

Visitors can find out how Arrow’s i.MX7 community boards help bring to life quickly and efficiently secure, portable and connected devices based on the dual-processor i.MX7 system on chip. The 96Boards platform coming to Embedded World combines ARM Cortex-A7 and Cortex-M4 processing resources in the i.MX7 with rich I/Os including USB, camera and MIPI display interfaces for high-performing, energy-conscious Internet of Everything applications.

Completing the scene, the full gamut of Arrow development solutions includes motor control, motion control, HMI solutions, software and other community boards. These will feature alongside the comprehensive supporting cast of sensors, memories, storage solutions, system on modules, wired and wireless connectivity, and passives, electromechanical and connector (PEMCO) solutions.
