Comau at EMO Milano 2015
Comau is displaying at the EMO Milano 2015 tradeshow, being until October 10 in Milan, Italy. The event is described as the perfect backdrop to present Comau’s technological expertise, commitment to quality and new design concepts. Among the many Comau firsts exhibited at EMO 2015, visitors can witness the latest advances in robotics.
Not only will the company demonstrate its “Safe” technology together with the Racer999 robot (7kg payload and a reach of 999m), Comau will also present its Dual Arm robot concept utilising the newest compact robot in the Racer family, Racer3. With a 3kg payload and a reach of 630mm, this 30kg robot is suitable for general industry applications from manipulation and assembly to high-speed dispensing.
In the Dual Arm configuration, Racer3 will simulate two human arms that act in unison to assemble complex objects. Finally, Comau will perform a simulated demonstration of its advanced in-line dimensional control on the chassis of a Jeep Renegade, a process that is executed in real-life when producing it.
Characterised by its high precision and long-term accuracy, SmartDriveComau 800L is a powerful solution able to satisfy primary manufacturing needs, both as a single work center or integrated within a highly flexible production line. Comau is in Hall 3 Stand E08-F05.
