Cleaning conference focusses on best practices & innovation

The High-Reliability Cleaning and Conformal Coating Conference, 18th to 20th November in Illinois focusses on best practices and new innovative technologies for meeting today’s manufacturing challenges and producing reliable hardware.

Jason Keeping of Celestica will chair session 5, titled ‘Evaluating Conformal Coatings’.

Charmaine Johnson and Doug Pauls, Rockwell Collins, will present ‘The Impact of Foreign Objects and Debris on Conformal Coating Insulation Resistance’.

Phil Kinner, Electrolube, will present ‘IPC CC-830B versus The Real World – A quantitative comparison of the ability of CC-830B to predict the ability of a conformal coating to successfully protect a test assembly during thermal shock and salt-mist testing’.

Barry Hindin, Battelle Memorial Institute, will present on ‘Behaviour of Conformal Coatings in Sulphur Vapour Bearing Environments’.

Katie Theilmann, Rockwell Collins, will speak on ‘Conformal Coating Adhesion Testing – New Methods’.
