Visitors will have the chance to learn about the challenges involved in inspecting the vehicle, which will be powered by a rocket bolted to a Eurofighter Typhoon jet engine, and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 1,000m/h.
Entry is free of charge for visitors, who will benefit not only from a concentration of materials testing innovation, but also from a programme of seminars covering the practical aspects of NDT and related technologies.
The event is organised by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing and will run alongside its annual conference, NDT 2015, providing additional networking opportunities. The Bloodhound SSC talks will take place on 9th of September.
