Conrad Business Supplies will use this year's appearance at electronica in Munich (November 13-16) to explain its customer-focused ecosystem to B2B customers and offer practical benefits to procurement departments.

The company will parade its growing assortment on the B2B Marketplace as well as the smart living platform Conrad Connect, access to the large-volume distributor SOS electronic, and “Conrad Maker and Education” – available to customers as a special partner for hobbyists, inventors, pioneers and educational institutions.

During electronica, case-studies in combination with products of various brands will be presented at its stand to deliver insight and know-how in the form of lectures by experts.

Conrad Business Supplies will also use electronica 2018 to celebrate its 20th anniversary as a one-stop supplier for B2B customers from all industries, highlighting the extension of its product mix; the expansion of a field services and logistics centre with ESD handling geared towards the needs of B2B customers; and a cable warehouse with more than 32,000 different cables.

Electronica visitors will be able to learn everything about the Conrad B2B Marketplace – with its steadily growing product range and over 100 partners. Conrad employees are on-site to explain on a one-on-one basis, how sellers can get on board this successful B2B shop and seller network.

‘Conrad Connect’ presents a digital platform for multi-vendor IoT projects and solutions. It is a smart living platform that allows users to connect their smart devices and services for free, automatically create projects and use dashboards.

Everything is held in a central cloud: whether smart home automation, security system, garden irrigation or the next fitness challenge.

Visitors can also find out more about the Service Marketplace. It allows users to link IoT devices and projects with real partner services and to integrate smart living solutions directly into everyday life.

By opening up the platform to third-party providers, service providers will have interesting opportunities to expand and benefit financially from their digital business models.

For customer specific projects, visitors can speak to SOS electronic – acquired by Conrad a few years ago – about its range of components, power supplies, measuring instruments and automation.
