Anritsu to showcase AI-enabled tensor VNA at EuMW 2026 Anritsu to showcase AI-enabled tensor VNA at EuMW 2026

Anritsu will present the newly launched Tensor, its first AI Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), at EuMW 6-8th October 2026 in London, UK. Tensor is an AI-enabled platform designed to simplify complex RF, microwave, mmWave, and optical component characterisation.

Through live demonstrations, Anritsu will show how Tensor helps engineers shorten the path from setup to insight, reduce operator dependency, and make sophisticated measurements more accessible without compromising engineering control. Visitors will see how the platform accelerates active device validation, simplifies mmWave setup, improves insight into device behaviour, and gives engineers greater flexibility when working with complex mixer architectures and multiple frequency plans.

AI-assisted workflows for complex VNA measurements

The built-in AI assistant will show how engineers can set up and execute advanced RF and microwave measurements more efficiently using natural-language guidance. Embedded directly into the Tensor VNA, Anritsu’s AI acts as a measurement companion, helping engineers solve complex problems and navigate workflows such as amplifier, mixer, S-parameter, calibration, limit-line, SCPI, and reporting tasks with greater efficiency and confidence.

Simplifying complex amplifier characterisation

Tensor will also be used to demonstrate streamlined amplifier characterisation in a single, unified setup, eliminating the need for reconfiguration and minimising downtime. Engineers will see how key measurements, including gain, compression, AM/AM, AM/PM, THD, and two-tone IMD, can be performed with fewer configuration changes and less measurement uncertainty.

Streamlined scalar and vector mixer measurements

For mixer measurements, Anritsu will demonstrate how Tensor simplifies both scalar and vector characterisation, including conversion loss, isolation, phase synchronisation, group delay, and gain compression. With four internal sources, eight receivers, an optional second LO, Multiple Source Control, and dedicated measurement wizards, the platform supports efficient configuration of multi-stage mixers and multiple frequency plans.

mmWave measurements, as simple as it can get

The Tensor VNA demonstration will show how engineers can perform advanced mmWave measurements using a simpler, more integrated setup. By connecting directly to Anritsu and third-party mmWave modules, Tensor reduces the need for additional test equipment while supporting broad frequency coverage, intuitive multiplier and divisor selection, and flexible source control for complex architectures such as harmonic mixers and multiplier chains.

Alongside the Tensor demonstrations, Anritsu will present additional test solutions addressing RF, microwave, mmWave, and high-speed measurement challenges.

Precision RF power and signal generation for demanding test workflows

The demonstration will combine the ML2439A Power Meter with the Rubidium MG362x1A Analog Signal Generator to support RF and microwave workflows requiring accurate power measurement and high-purity signal generation in one setup. It will highlight multi-channel measurements on CW, modulated, and pulsed signals for receiver sensitivity, blocking, OTA validation, and non-linearity tests.

Typical applications include 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and broadcast testing, aerospace and defence pulse characterisation, TWTA gain measurements, radar and IFF analysis, radiated immunity testing, and semiconductor, RF, and microwave module characterisation.

mmWave Spectrum Analysis in the palm of your hand

Measurement performance once confined to the benchtop can now fit in the palm of your hand. The Anritsu Spectrum Master MS2760A delivers continuous spectrum analysis from 9 kHz to 170 GHz in an ultraportable, USB-powered design, giving engineers the freedom to explore emerging millimetre-wave technologies wherever innovation happens. Its direct-connect architecture reduces the need for lossy, expensive cables, bringing the measurement closer to the device and helping accelerate development from the laboratory to the production floor.

RIS field performance evaluation in collaboration with TMYTEK

In collaboration with TMYTEK, Anritsu will demonstrate RIS field performance evaluation for 5G and future 6G networks. By combining Anritsu’s ME786xA VNA with PhaseLync technology and TMYTEK’s XRifle Dynamic RIS, the solution helps customers improve radio path characterisation, enhance signal quality, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate reliable network deployment.
