Aaronia will be presenting the latest solutions for high-frequency measurement at the IMS Microwave symposium in San Francisco (June 15 – 20).

In an increasingly wireless world, high-frequency measurements are essential for the development, validation and monitoring of modern communication systems.

Whether in mobile communications, aerospace technology, the automotive sector or defense - knowledge of the use of electromagnetic signals and their precise analysis forms the backbone of technological innovation. Not only are the requirements for bandwidth and frequency increasing, but also the expectations for precision and speed of signal processing. Against this backdrop, real-time spectrum analyzers (RTSA) are becoming increasingly important.

They enable the seamless acquisition and analysis of transient signals that often remain undetected with classic, swept-based spectrum analyzers.

In addition, some real-time analyzers are also suitable for recording extremely fast sweeps and are therefore doubly superior to conventional devices.

With the real-time spectrum analyzers of the SPECTRAN V6 XPR series, Aaronia is presenting one of the world's most powerful USB-based analyzer series.

Equipped with sweep speeds of >3THz/s and state-of-the-art waveguide technology, high-frequency and rapidly changing signals in the microwave range can be reliably analyzed and evaluated.

For example the SPECTRAN V6 PLUS XPR 250XB-WR12, offers 10dB NF at 77GHz. This makes it the perfect choice for radar measurements, for example in the automotive sector (76GHz to 81GHz).

In addition, the V6 XPR series is an attractively priced solution. Thanks to the waveguide connection, users can connect their own amplifier and splitter systems to the real-time spectrum analyzers

Aaronis is also exhibiting the SPECTRAN V6 MOBILE (pictured), which it claims is the world's first portable real-time spectrum analyzer with an RTBW of 490 MHz. This means that even the 320 MHz wide channels of the new IEEE 802.11ax standard can be fully recorded.

With a frequency range from 9 kHz to 140 GHz and a sweep speed of 3 THz/s, the Aaronia spectrum analyzers used are equipped for all tasks.

The tablet, which is also available separately, is powered by the latest AMD® Ryzen 7949 HF processor with 64GB LPDDR5x memory.

Unusual features include an optical network interface, 4 x USB-C with 15W each via USB PD, 2x M.2 2280, 3x M.2 2242 and a SIM card slot. The tablet PC can also be equipped with up to 16 TByte SSD storage space and has two hot-swappable battery packs.

With the help of the broadband antenna portfolio, the performance of the SPECTRAN® V6 real-time spectrum analyzers can be fully exploited.

This includes the brand new AoA real-time DF solutions up to 18GHz or soon up to 40GHz, based on the improved and further developed IsoLOG DF DF and tracking antennas.

At IMS 2025, the IsoLOG DF 16-10180 direction finding and tracking antennas with a frequency range of 1GHz - 18 GHz and the IsoLOG DF 16-20400 with a frequency range of 2GHz - 40 GHz will be presented.
