Electrocomponents changing name to RS Group in early May
From early May Electrocomponents will become RS Group. The change brings the Group’s distribution businesses under its primary global customer brand.
The announcement was made by Electrocomponents CEO Lindsley Ruth (pictured) at an investors event earlier today (March 30).
Revealing the name change Ruth commented, “Through the efforts of our people, we have collectively transformed the performance and aspirations of our business. Our Investor Event will outline our journey to greatness – a plan to benchmark our business against the highest global standards and deliver best-in-class growth and returns.”
Investors heard from Ruth, how the Group’s differentiated business model is delivering market share gains, supporting stronger revenue growth that is less reliant on markets whilst better insulating our business from macro-economic headwinds.
Said Ruth “As RS Group we will bring our business together under one brand, united behind a common ambition and our single purpose,making amazing happen for a better world."
