Coloured LED ring lights around the knobs indicate trigger source, active source and adjust parameters while the switch-based front panel delivers tactile feedback for button press. Additional coloured LED lights under the buttons indicate status.
In terms of performance, the 2 Series MSO is well-equipped for advanced debugging, with bandwidths of 70MHz, 100MHz, 200MHz, 350MHz and 500MHz, two or four analogue channel inputs, sample rates of 2.5GS/s half channels and 1.25GS/s all channels, a built-in pattern generator, voltmeter, and frequency counter and an optional 50MHz arbitrary function generator. A future software release will make 16 digital channels available.
