Dr. Bagherli (pictured) was honoured for services to the semiconductor sector. He is currently Chair of Probe Test Solutions, which specialises in the design, simulation, and fabrication of advanced semiconductor wafer and package test solutions.
Professor Douglas Paul Professor of Semiconductor Devices, James Watt School of Engineering at Glasgow University was awarded an OBE for services to quantum technologies research.
Janet Collyer, Chair of Quantum Dice was honoured with an OBE for services to quantum hardware and cybersecurity. Founded in April 2020, Quantum Dice is an award-winning venture-backed spinout from Oxford University’s world-renowned quantum optics laboratory.
Warren East, who was CEO of Arm Holdings from 2001 to 2013, and most recently CEO of Rolls-Royce was knighted in the New Year Honours list.
