McIntosh is CEO of Methera, an early stage satellite company that is developing a highly flexible, broadband service to provide connectivity to Defence, Telecom Service Providers and Emerging countries, anywhere and anytime.
Previously, as CEO ViaSat UK he led the inception and growth of ViaSat’s European satellite capabilities.

James Lewis, Helix CEO, said: “Chris’s background in the secure comms, and his deep involvement in the space industry, make him the ideal new member of our board, as we push our high-accuracy GNSS antennas through to production and engage the aerospace, defence and communications sectors as customers and partners. I’m really looking forward to his contribution.”
