Yuasa sponsors Team Honda in 2010 BTCC Championships
Yuasa Battery has announced it is sponsoring Team Honda for the British Touring Car Championships (BTCC) 2010 season. The company’s logo will be carried on both team cars and drivers’ overalls for the ten races through the 2010 BTCC season giving the Yuasa brand national and international exposure during the 120+ hours of coverage on the national ITV network.
The first race of the season is at Thruxton circuit in Hampshire on Easter Sunday 4th April with Team Honda’s challenge spearheaded by former champion Matt Neal and Scotland’s Gordon Shedden. The cars are run by Team Dynamics who have won the outright championship twice with Honda.
Commenting on the announcement, James Hylton, Yuasa Battery Sales (UK)’s automotive division sales and marketing manager, said, “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor Team Honda for the 2010 BTCC season, enhancing our long association with the Honda motor company.
