Yuan selects Mirics’ FlexiTV platform for its new generation of PC TV receivers

Mirics, developer of FlexiTV today announces that Yuan High-Tech (“Yuan”) has developed TV tuner receivers based upon the FlexiTV platform. The reference platforms will target Yuan’s top tier OEM customers and PC system integration partners seeking robust, production-ready USB dongle and minicard-based TV tuner solutions.

First production products from the partnership are expected to be available by the third quarter of 2010 for initial deployment in Asia, Europe and Latin America followed by global deployment before year’s end.
