X-REL Semiconductor launches XTRM: a new family of high-temp, extreme reliability electronics components

Following the announcement of the creation of French spin-off X-REL Semiconductor from EASii IC, X-REL introduces XTRM, its High-Reliability / High-Temperature product portfolio dedicated to fields such as Aeronautics & Space, Transportation & Automotive, Harsh Environments, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Geothermal.

X-REL is proud to announce the availability of seven new products belonging to four product families:

XTR30010 PWM Controller: DC/DC converters and PWM control. It can operate in buck, boost, buck-boost, flyback and push-pull modes. Datasheet

XTR20x10 High-Temperature family of N-channel Power MOSFET with Driver: Low- or High-side switch. It includes power transistor and driver. Datasheet 40V / Datasheet 70V

XTR75010 High-Temperature Low-Power Series Voltage Regulator: output voltages from 1.2V to 15V (10 possible values). Datasheet

XTR431 High-Temperature Programmable Shunt Regulator: output voltage from 3V to 40V, cathode current from 0.5mA to 100mA. Datasheet

“Qualified to operate from -60°C (-76°F) to +230°C (+446°F), XTRM hi-rel and hi-temp features enable systems to maximise performance and boost robustness and reliability” said Lydie Ferreira, marketing and partnerships manager at X-REL.

All these products offer several possible packaging configurations and samples are available to customers.
Designed to reliably perform for years, X-REL products make possible the reduction of overall system costs all through product lifecycle. Targeting applications such as power conversion, control, data acquisition, timing and signal conditioning, X-REL products offer enhanced reliability and superior performance over existing solutions.

You can also meet X-REL at the Grenoble Innovation Fair in October 20-21 2011.
