Versatile microwave hybrid devices can be used as combiners or dividers

RF and microwave component specialist Link Microtek has added a range of general-purpose 90-degree hybrid devices to its LYNX portfolio of microwave components, which provide a reliable yet low-cost non-ITAR alternative to more established product lines.

The LYNX brand was created in 2008 through the collaboration of three leading European microwave representative organisations – Elexo of France, Globes Elektronik of Germany and Link Microtek of the UK – and all LYNX products are available throughout Europe from any of the three partner companies.

Manufactured in the Far East to the highest quality standards, the LYNX 111.A2 series hybrids are designed to function as either combiners or dividers over the frequency range 0.2 to 18.0GHz and are suitable for use in a wide variety of military and commercial applications.

They utilise stripline technology to deliver first-class performance, with insertion losses as low as 0.3dB, VSWR values ranging from 1.2:1 to 1.6:1, and a high isolation of typically 22dB.
Equipped with SMA-type female connectors, the hybrid devices feature a 50ohm impedance and offer excellent phase and amplitude balance.
