VCC has been recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as #8 on its ninth annual list of the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in San Diego County. Each year, the San Diego Business Journal researches and identifies the region’s top emerging growth companies and honors them with a ranking on its 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list and an exclusive, invitation-only reception and awards program, which was held last night, July 11, at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego, Calif.
“We are thrilled to have been recognized as one of the top emerging growth companies in the region by the San Diego Business Journal’s 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies List, and would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone at VCC for their hard work and dedication,” said Andy Zanelli, CEO of VCC. “VCC has experienced tremendous growth in recent years, and is currently executing strategies aimed at continuing to expand our product offering, manufacturing, design, and customer service capabilities, none of which would be possible without the support and collaborative efforts of our valued employees.”

To earn a position on this year’s 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies list, companies had to be headquartered in San Diego County, to be privately held (i.e. not a division or subsidiary of another organization), to have reported at least $200,000 in revenue in 2010, and to have met a considerable percentage of revenue increase over the three-year period spanning 2010-2012.

Over the last three years, VCC has experienced prodigious triple-digit growth in revenue, which has allowed the company to acquire several complimentary product lines – including the Leecraft® and Littelites lines from Lighting Concepts and Solutions and the complete Chicago Miniature Lighting indication and illumination product lines – as well as to expand organically. In March 2013, VCC announced the completion of its new Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico manufacturing facility, which provides twice the available space as the previous facility, which is necessary for a company that provides as extensive a range of both standard product shipments and custom design solutions as VCC offers for global markets including aerospace, automotive, industrial, safety, and transportation.
