VCC has completed the expansion of its Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico manufacturing facility. Located in the Las Arboledas area of Tijuana, the new facility is twice the size of the last one, significantly expanding production capabilities and enabling VCC to better accommodate its continual organic and acquisitive growth. With the new 25,000 square foot facility, VCC is also expanding its direct labor force and technical team of process and quality engineers. In total, VCC’s new facility has brought 50 new jobs to the area.
“The new facility improves our efficiency and enables us to support the solid organic and acquisitive growth that we have achieved over the last four years. We have been operating in Mexico for nearly twenty years now, and are very pleased with the cost reduction and service improvements we experience by near-shoring in Tijuana,” said Andy Zanelli, CEO of VCC.
