Updates released to address blank ‘Year’ field issue in EndNote X2 and earlier

Adept Scientific is pleased to report that patches for EndNote X2 and earlier have been released by Thomson Reuters. The patches will address cases where bibliographic records with a publication date post-2009 are not being imported to EndNote X2 or earlier.

To resolve this issue, the following information for users has been released:

If you are using EndNote X2 a patch to correct this issue is available at http://www.endnote.com/support/ENX201_WinMac_updater.asp

If you are using EndNote X1 a patch to correct this issue is available at http://www.endnote.com/support/ENX102_WinMac_updater.asp

We recommend that users of EndNote X and below upgrade to the current version at http://www.adeptstore.co.uk to achieve full functionality. Alternatively users of versions 8, 9 & X may use the manual work around as detailed at http://www.endnote.com/support/Faqs/Import/faq20.asp

If you’re using EndNote X3 you do not need a patch as the records will import correctly.
