A Midlands hydraulics specialist has received a major accreditation at a time when it has just unveiled its brand new range of filter trolleys, and gone live with a new website that showcases its extensive and growing product range.

MGR Fluid Power has been recognised by the Safecontractor Accreditation Scheme, a sign that the business is achieving excellence in health and safety standards across its UK factory. The accolade gives confirmation and assurance to MGR customers of how seriously the company takes its health and safety commitments, and means that the business is now an approved Safecontractor company.

The accreditation comes at a time when MGR has just unveiled its new range of filter trolleys, providing an effective way for hydraulic companies to transfer fluid from barrels and cleaning fluid through reservoirs. It is widely estimated that 90% of oil from a drum does not meet the manufacturer’s ISO cleanliness levels for a hydraulic system. MGR’s filter trolley range, which has been designed and manufactured in the UK, is a vital part of any contamination control process, ensuring that clean oil is transferred into the reservoir of a hydraulic system, and providing a backup when contamination is discovered.

Completing the trio of achievements, the business has also gone live with a brand new and informative website, which showcases the wide range of products that MGR has been expanding over the last year. During an exciting year for the business, the company has added hydraulic filters, safety blocks, and now filter trolleys to its expanding range, as well as making huge moves forward into the renewable energy and industrial markets.

Mike Retford, Managing Director, MGR Fluid Power, commented: “At MGR, we take health and safety very seriously and to receive Safecontractor accreditation is a big message to us and our customers that we are achieving exceptional levels of health and safety competence.

“This tops off a really good year of growth for us. Adding our filter trolleys to our wide range of products and services is enabling us to offer total hydraulic and lubrication systems and components to all types in businesses in all number of sectors. And with our new website live, we are gearing up to enjoy even further growth and success throughout 2016.”
