Designed to withstand the rigours of tough environments whether used in a shopping mall kiosk or for running demanding process control applications, the ACS-2630 Box PC system from Datasound Laboratories provides up to 1.7GHz of processing power housed in a rugged, self contained, fanless case.
Powered by a Celeron M or Pentium M processor the ACS-2630 supports 2 USB 2.0 ports and can be supplied with up to 1GB of RAM. Flash storage can be added via the onboard CompactFlash socket or alternatively the system also has a 2.5 hard drive bay which is protected from vibration.

The ACS-2630 integrates a 10/100Base-T Ethernet connection and has Intel 852GM+ICH4 graphics. Power input shouldn't be a problem as the ultra compact 230mm x 74mm x 221mm standalone or wall mounted unit operates with a 12 to 24Vdc supply.

Audio can be connected using the line-in, line-out and mic-in connections while other interfaces include two RS232 ports, one RS232/422/485, parallel and PS2 mouse and keyboard. The RoHS compliant unit also has four digital I/O and is FCC, CE Class A certified.

Other applications for the ACS-2630 include POS systems, airport terminal controllers, digital entertainment systems and Industrial Process control applications.
