The end of ‘are we there yet?’: the world’s first colouring-in car

Hertz, the car hire company, has revealed designs for the ultimate in-car entertainment, set to keep the kids amused for hours. Taking the colouring book trend to a whole new level, Hertz has introduced the world’s first colouring-in car. The exclusive Hertz car is fully upholstered with popular colouring-in book designs. Travel experts at Hertz designed the car with families in mind, especially for those ‘are we nearly there yet?’ moments.

The company has upholstered a prototype car in vinyl, with everything from the seats to the ceiling covered in outlines of images begging to be filled with colour. Afterwards, art works can be wiped away for the next family to use.

The Colouring-in Car is now available at the Hertz Heathrow branch for a trial period. If the design proves successful, the company plans to release more cars.
